As usual with Novomatic powered slots, the sound and imagery are solid rather than spectacular - the symbols are nicely drawn and come complete with some nifty animations to herald a winning combination. The soundtrack is pretty standard, albeit punctuated by blasts of Africa when you do hit a winner.
The variance here is on the high side of medium - expect plenty of times when you won't spot anything of interest on this safari jaunt. The action really comes alive during the free spins round where the 3x multiplier can quickly get the coins flowing. The feature doesn't hit that often though so take that into consideration if you're playing with a limited bankroll.
A classic African Simba isn't but it's a playable little slot. If you like the African/animal theme, it's one that's worth a look. I would also recommend Playtech’s White King and WMS Gaming’s Raging Rhino which are both more volatile offerings.
