The reels in Super Monopoly Money are filled with items from the game including the boot, ship, top hat and car counters. The base game payouts are on the small side but Super Monopoly Money is all about the features. First there's the Free Parking feature which is triggered when 1 or more Free Parking symbols appear on the reels.
Once activated, 5 Free Parking symbols will appear below the reels. Behind them will be a Monopoly Money Bonus, a Wild and the 3 symbols shown on reel one. One is selected and all the Free Parking symbols on the reels will transform into the chosen symbol.
Super Monopoly Money also comes with a Free Spins Bonus feature which is triggered when 3 or more Bonus or Monopoly Money Bonus symbols appear in a line. Between 8 and 15 free spins will be awarded. It's still possible to trigger the Free Parking feature during Free Spins which can make for a lucrative combination. Extra free spins (and a lot of them!) can be had so keep an eye out for those Bonus symbols.
You can also earn Monopoly Money (MM). When the MM Wild symbol appears on reel 5 it expands to fill the reel and becomes wild. If a win doesn't ensue, you'll be awarded a random amount in Monopoly Money. Use Monopoly Money to enter the Wheel Bonus feature which offers a selection of multipliers.
Click on Mr Monopoly to send the dial spinning around the wheel. Depending on where the wheel stops, a multiplier of between 1 and 100 times your stake will be awarded. If it lands on Bonus, you have a choice of 3 Chance cards offering a 5x or 10x multiplier or a respin. Stop on a Community Chest and you'll have a choice of 12 cards offering multipliers ranging from 1x to 25x or Award All.
Finally, if you land on Go and you'll be awarded another spin with the multipliers upped to between 10x and 200x. Multiplier amounts are awarded in real cash rather than Monopoly Money. You can also earn Monopoly Money Houses and Hotels via any spin where Monopoly Money is not awarded.
Super Monopoly Money looks great. The visuals are bang up to date and look really fresh. The action on the reels is accompanied by a jazzy soundtrack. The gameplay is a little complex at first glance but once you get the hang of the Monopoly Money concept it soon becomes clear.
This game is all about the features though - there are plenty of them offering ample chances to win. You may not break the bank with Super Monopoly Money but get lucky with the free spins and the Wheel Bonus feature and you can still walk away with a (top) hat full of coins. You can expect more Monopoly-themed games from WMS in the future but I would recommend Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers and Zeus which are both land based classics and a must for any slots player.
