Like many slots with the Asian theme, there’s plenty of gold on display in Fortune Coin. With a woodland scene at night in the background, the dark blue reels include colourful A to 9 symbols as well as 5 higher-paying gold ornaments. The best of the quartet is the golden lion which pays 0.66 x stake if you land 5 on adjoining reels. The golden dragon is the wild. This substitutes for all the standard symbols.

Like many IGT releases, Fortune Coin has the look and feel of a live casino slot – that’s because it is. The colourful design is decent enough, backed by a classical Asian soundtrack. The features offer a decent amount of variety but you won’t find anything very out of the ordinary here. It’s a perfectly solid slot though.
Low variance, the most you can win is 1,000 x stake from the Fortune Coin feature. Other than that, Fortune Coin isn’t a slot I will be coming back to. IGT has much better games available with the Egyptian-themed Pyramidion offering more variety and bigger potential max wins.
