The basement of a mediaeval castle, filled full of gold and treasure, forms the backdrop to the reels. Dragon Champions is a relatively simple game - the Dragonfire expansions land at regular intervals and can provide some decent base game action, especially if they engulf a higher value symbol. The Dragon Champions Free Games feature is perfectly solid too, without offering anything particularly flashy. We found the volatility to be sky high so you need to be patient.
The visuals are good but and the sweeping orchestral soundtrack has a hint of Game of Thrones, especially in the feature. As mentioned, the variance is high so you need to tread carefully. Overall, we enjoyed Dragon Champions as it offers you simple sword and sorcery adventure with monster wins if you’re luck is in. I also suggest you try Buffalo Blitz (also by Playtech) which is also highly volatile and similar in terms of gameplay.
