Beach comes complete with plenty of seaside imagery on its reels including a variety of shells, pearls, starfish and treasure chests. Most important if you're hoping to sail away with a big win though is the Octopus symbol which acts as the wild symbol.
The Octopus Wild only appears on column 3 and has the ability to swap the positions of any two symbols on adjacent positions on columns 2, 3 and 4. When the Octopus Wild finds a swap combination that gives the highest possible total win. All wins featuring the Octopus Wild are doubled (i.e. 2x multiplier).
The other major bonus on offer from Beach is the Free Waves feature which is triggered with the appearance of three or more letter in a bottle symbols. Eight free waves (spins) are triggered by finding three letter in a bottles. Four makes it 16 free waves. Find five and you'll be awarded 24 free waves.
Beach also comes complete with a crab-like Wild symbol which appears only on columns 1, 2, 4, and 5, and substitutes for all symbols except Scatter symbols and the Octopus Wild symbol. The maximum payout from Beach is a whopping 200 times your stake. To hit this maximum win, you'll need to find 5 treasure chest symbols. This pays out 100 times your stake - this of course will be doubled if an Octopus Wild is included in the payline.
Beach has a very simple and clean look. The graphics are neat and tidy and the way the reels spins like the tide coming in is a neat touch. The features aren't overly complex either but do offer the prospect of some big wins which is what we're looking for after all. If you're stuck at home on a miserable day, pining for some sea air, Beach may scratch that seaside itch.
