Trolls Bridge 2 Slot

Do battle with a band of fearsome creatures in Trolls Bridge 2. This fantasy-themed sequel has been created by Yggdrasil Gaming and combines high class sound and visuals with a huge variety of extras. Look out for colossal symbols, multipliers of between 2x and 5x and a free spins round where you’ll pick from the 18 different modifiers. Stakes here range from between 10p and £100 per spin.

As we’ve come to expect from Yggdrasil Gaming slot games, the design in Trolls Bridge 2 is very well put together. With a brooding orchestral soundtrack playing in the background, you’ll try and navigate your way past the Trolls Temple. On the reels are heart, diamond, club and spade symbols as well as 4 higher paying trolls. The best of the quartet is the troll sporting a rather large bone through his nose. Land 3, 4 or 5 of this charmer for a payout of 2, 6 or 8 times your stake. There’s also a standard wild that substitutes for everything bar the scatter.

Known as the Colossal Bridge feature, the wild and the 4 trolls can all turn into oversized symbols which can reach 2 reels across and 4 rows high. If you like plenty of variety from your games, then you won’t be disappointed with what Trolls Bridge 2 has to offer.

Central to the action is the Free Spins feature - land 3 or more of the free spins scatter on the same spin to activate the main feature round. You’ll then receive the following allocations of free spins and modifiers:

  • 3 Free Spin symbols award 5 free spins with 3 feature picks
  • 4 Free Spin symbols award 7 free spins with 4 feature picks
  • 5 Free Spin symbols award 10 free spins with 5 feature picks

When it comes to feature picks, you pick from cards to gain added extras which are in play during the free spins – they include:

  • 2 extra feature cards
  • 2 or 3 extra free spins
  • 2x multiplier on all winning combinations
  • 2 or 3 wilds randomly placed each free spin
  • The red, purple, green or blue troll symbol can appear as a 2x2 colossal symbol
  • The red, purple, green or blue troll acts as a wild
  • The red heart, purple spade, green club or blue diamond symbols transform into trolls of the same colour

If you wish, you can up your stakes in the base game by 10 coins per spin to activate the Golden Bet feature. This delivers an extra modifier pick when you trigger the Free Spins feature. If you are playing at 10p per spin for example, the Golden Bet feature activated will increase the spin amount to 14p per spin.

Another way to enter the Free Spins feature is via the Bonus Cauldron feature. This is played when the cauldron symbol appears on reel 5. You will get a cash bonus of up to 25 times your stake or 3 free spins options:

  • 10 free spins with 5 feature picks
  • 7 free spins with 4 feature picks
  • 5 free spins with 3 feature picks

The most lucrative feature is the Bonus Stone feature - this simply boosts all your payouts by 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x on a spin when it hits. With a maximum of 250 times your stake to be won from every spin, the 5x multiplier could lead to wins of 1,250 times your stake on each spin.

We didn’t think that the original Trolls Bridge was crying out for a sequel. Yggdrasil Gaming has done a good job here though. As usual, it looks and sounds terrific. The darker and more sinister feel works better in my opinion. The gameplay is pretty slick too – despite it being virtually identical to the original.

The modifiers make the Free Spins feature well worth hitting. The huge variety of those modifiers means the gameplay remains fresh even after you’ve landed the feature a few times. Add the multipliers and the cauldron bonus into the mix and Trolls Bridge 2 becomes a very playable take on the fantasy-themed slot game. I would also suggest you try Vikings Go Berzerk (also by Yggdrasil Gaming) which is one of their better (and most popular) releases.
