Like many slot game in the WMS catalogue, the design in Hula Hula Nights feels a little primitive, especially in comparison the HD efforts we’ve come to expect from the likes of Quickspin and Thunderkick. The reels here include totem-style playing cards, purple, red and yellow flowers and a pair of Polynesian women. The best of these awards 2.5, 5 or 25 times your total stake if you land 3, 4 or 5 on a payline. There’s also a wild that replaces everything apart from the scatter.
Look out for the special green glow that can fill reels - when this happens, all of the symbols on that reel will transform into the same matching symbol. In the base game this can be anything apart from the wild and scatter. This is known as the Green Reels feature.
Hula Hula Nights also comes with a Free Spin Bonus feature - land 3, 4 or 5 scatters on the same spin and you’ll receive 10, 15 or 25 free spins. The green reels are present in the feature - instead of transforming, each symbol in a green reel will award a cash prize if you land a collect. These offer awards of between £1 and £25. Land 3, 4 or 5 collect symbols and you’ll re-trigger another 10, 15 or 25 free spins giving you up to 50 in total.

This isn’t the flashiest slot game you’ll see as far as design goes. The gameplay offers something a little different though in the form of the green reel cash awards in the Free Spin Bonus feature. If you don’t mind the rather plain design, there’s some decent bonus features on offer here which makes Hula Hula Nights worth a closer look.
