Frog Grog Slot

Enter a mysterious science lab where magical potions can turn into treasure in Frog Grog. Powered by Thunderkick, it's a 5 reel, 23 payline slot game, that comes with a symbol drop game engine, a burping frog who adds extra wilds, a mystery game with the lower value symbols removed and multiplier prizes.

Thunderkick slot games are usually well designed and Frog Grog lives up to the usual standards - the setting is a candle filled laboratory full of books of spells. The reels are positioned within a set of shelves and include an array of brightly coloured potions filled with eyes, hearts, plants and moths.

The frog is the game's wild, substituting for all other symbols - when it hits and the payouts are made, the frog will burp and remove all the symbols from the row and column it appears on. The frog will turn orange and remain in place until it forms part of a new winning combo or for the rest of the round. This is known as the Frog Burp feature.

Frog Grog is played using a dropping reels game engine - following a successful spin, the winning symbols are blasted off the reels and replaced by the symbols above. These drops keep on coming as long as a new winning combination is created. You'll notice a multiplier meter to the side of the reels - this increases with each successive symbol drop win, starting at 1x and then rising to 2x, 3x, 5x and ultimately 7x.

Frog Grog also comes with a Mystery Game feature which can be triggered following any unsuccessful spin. All symbols are then removed from the reels apart from the moth, flower and wild frog. The symbols that are removed can pay scatter style. Every win earned in the Mystery Game will also boost the multiplier, once again up to a maximum of 7x.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that there aren't any free spins on offer here. The symbol drop game engine keeps the pace relatively high though and can be lucrative if you manage to get the multiplier building. The other features are tidy enough too.

Frog Grog has all the makings of a solidly entertaining slot though making it well worth a trip to this strange little lab. It may not have free spins but it does have the potential to pay out very big – up to 1,616 times your stake in fact! Definitely unusual, as per many Thunderkick titles, it’s quite a good game. I also recommend you try Esqueleto Explosivo which also features dropping reels.
