King Kong features 2 different game modes – Jungle Mode and City Mode – both of which come with 2 bonus features each. The default setting is the Jungle Mode. Here you can trigger the Wild Jungle Respins feature by finding 3 King Kong Wilds anywhere on the reels - you'll be awarded 3 re-spins. The real advantage here is that when the King Kong Wild appears it will remain frozen in place for the duration of the respins.
Next is the Skull Island Bonus feature which becomes active when you find 3 Kong scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. Once triggered, you'll be presented with a treasure map featuring 13 items. Finally there's the City Tower Bonus feature. Our monster hero stands atop a skyscraper and takes on waves of advancing aircraft. Pick one of 3 planes to reveal a cash prize - you'll have 3 picks in all here. You'll return to Jungle Mode after completing this feature.
Despite being released in 2011, King Kong still looks pretty good. The on screen action is interspersed with footage from the film itself and accompanied by a stirring soundtrack. The variance in King Kong is in the medium range which means a balance of payouts. This slot is all about the features. The payouts can vary considerably but if fortune is smiling it's possible to collect a monster amount of coins. If you like movie-themed slots, the Marvel Series titles are my recommendation with The Incredible Hulk being very good (also by Playtech).
