The design in Wild Burning Wins: 5 Lines is just what we’ve come to expect from a Playson-powered slot game. On the black reels you’ll see the usual assortment of fruity favourites. In order of value are cherries and lemons which pay 1x your total stake if you land 3 in a row. They’re joined by oranges and plums which pay 2x and bells, grapes and melons which deliver payouts of 3x, 5x and 8x.
The lucky red 7 is the most rewarding of the standard symbols. A 3-in-a-line combo will get you 10 times your stake. More rewarding still is the wild which can hit on all 3 reels. Land 3 of these for a payout of 20 times your stake. Unusually for a Playson fruit machine, there are a couple of extras on offer here.
Re-Spin feature - land 2 full stacks of matching symbols but miss out on creating a winner to trigger this feature. The stacked symbols are locked and the other reel spins again to give you a new chance to create a winner.
Bonus Wheel feature - if all 9 positions on the reels display the same symbol, you’ll activate the bonus wheel. This will deliver a 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x multiplier boost to your payout depending on where the pointer lands.
You’ll find more gameplay here than in many Playson slot games. It’s still very straightforward though. The re-spins and the multiplier can deliver some tasty enough action though – up to 1,000 times your stake with the potential 10x multiplier. The variance is on the high side of medium.
The simple gameplay means this won’t be for everyone. If you’ve enjoyed the other games in Playson’s Timeless Fruit Collection, then Wild Burning Wins: 5 Lines is worth a closer look though. Saying that, Playson’s best slot game in my opinion is Mighty Africa: 4096 Ways which expands to give you 31,104 ways to win.
