Leprechaun goes to Hell Slot

After sending the Leprechaun to Egypt for his last mash up adventure, Play ‘N Go has packed him off somewhere even hotter for his next outing … hell! This 5 reel, 25 payline trip to the underworld comes with a free spins round where all wins are doubled as well as an Infernal Bonus feature where big jackpot prizes are on offer. Available on HTML5 compatible devices, play from between 25p and £5 per spin.

The imagery in Leprechaun goes to Hell has a certain demonic feel. Joining the Celtic style playing card symbols are bottles of potion, horned tridents, stars and bone encrusted top hats - land 5 of the latter in a payline for a payday of 28 times your total stake.

The minxy looking Evilene and the Leprechaun are both wild - if both of them feature in the same payline, then the payout will be boosted by a 2x multiplier and doubled.

The other symbol is the cauldron full of coins - land 3 of these anywhere on the reels and you'll trigger the Free Spins feature and with it 10 free spins. To start with, all of your free spin wins will be doubled. If you land 3 or more scatters during this feature, the multiplier will increase by a factor of 2. You can get up to 50 free spins in total with a massive 10x multiplier!

The second feature is the Infernal Bonus feature which is triggered by landing 3 of the Evilene symbols anywhere on the reels - you can look forward to 10 Infernal spins which are played out on a 3x3 reel set with a new, 5 payline payout structure. Every time a heart symbol lands, it will add an extra free spin to your total - there’s up to 50 Infernal spins to be won.

The more you win, the hotter the temperature will become - keep track via the Leprechaun's meter to the right hand side of the reels. Carry on winning and you'll have a shot at winning 1 of 4 jackpot prizes.

Well designed and featuring a guitar heavy, hard rock soundtrack, Leprechaun goes to Hell looks and sound great. As for volatility? Given the scorching theme it was actually a little tame. We found a regular stream of lower level wins with the features coming along at regular intervals. They were a bit hit and miss in terms of payouts but ticked over nicely. Overall, we found the variance to be in the medium range.

The concept in Leprechaun goes to Hell is certainly a little strange - it all comes together rather nicely though and makes for a very playable slot game. We're not sure where Play ‘N Go can send the plucky Leprechaun after a trip to the underworld, but if his future escapades are as entertaining as this one, we'll certainly be giving it a look.
