Native American-style design
There’s a hint of Native America about the visuals in Coywolf Cash. The reels are set within a wooden frame that’s edged by feathers, spears and carved bird totems. On the reels you’ll see lower value A to 10 playing cards alongside woodland predators including a wolverine, a lynx, a hawk and a fox. The black bear is the best standard symbol, paying 1.6x your total stake if you land 5 on a payline. The coywolf (half wolf/half coyote) is the wild. This can appear stacked on reels 2 and 4. Land 5 wilds on a payline and you’ll receive 6 times your stake.
Alpha Coywolf wilds
Joining the standard wild is the Alpha Coywolf wild. This appears on the wild reel which is triggered by landing a mask scatter on reel 3. Once activated, the Wild Reel feature spins horizontally at the top of the grid and features only blanks and Alpha Coywolf Wilds. If an Alpha wild lands, it expands to fill the whole of the reel below. A payout calculation then follows. Land 5 Alpha Wilds on a payline for a payout of 30 times your total stake.
Prey Free Spins & multipliers
The Prey Free Spins feature is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 of the totem scatter on the same spin. You’ll then play out 8, 11 or 15 free spins. The Wild Reel can become active during the free spins and deliver even better rewards than in the base game.
On offer are wild multipliers that can boost payouts by 2x, 4x or 7x as well as 2 or 4 extra free spins. The stacked Coywolf Wilds are active in the free spins round too. You can win infinite free spins if you’re lucky.
Win up to 4,000 x stake
With the 2 different wilds, wild reels and the wild multipliers in the Prey Free Spins feature, the gameplay in Coywolf Cash is a bit more complicated than in many Play ’N Go slots. Have a go in demo mode if you can. What will be familiar if you’re a Play ’N Go fan is the sky-high variance. This is another super volatile slot.
It’s not the flashiest looking game in the Play ’N Go catalogue but the interesting gameplay, high variance and potential payouts of up to 4,000x your total stake per free spin make Coywolf Cash worth exploring. The RTP is high at 96.31% which is also pretty good.
If you like the theme, Pragmatic Play’s Buffalo King should be considered as the multipliers can combine to give you 93,750 x stake wins on every free spin.
