Rock band design
There’s a strong musical theme to the design in Black Mamba. On the reels you’ll find microphones, headphones, a plectrum, drumsticks and cymbals and 3 member of the band – Alexandra, Cecilia and Fred who each award 0.3, 1 or 5 times your stake if you land 3, 4 or 5 on a payline.
The Black Mamba ban logo is the wild. As well as substituting for all the standard symbols it pays 1, 3 and 25 times your stake. Appearing in the features only is lead singer Martina. She’s a second wild that comes with a 2x multiplier attached. She also pays 2, 6 or 50 times your stake in her own right.
Symbol drop reels
To create a winner, you’ll need to land 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols either vertically or horizontally on the 5x5 reel grid. After a winning combination is created, the successful symbols are blasted away and new ones replace them. The drops keep on coming as long as a new winner is formed. Each successive win also increases a multiplier by 1x. This multiplier resets following a winless drop.
4 solo modifiers
On each spin, 1 band member will be active. Following a winless spin, you could trigger the active band member’s special modifier.
- Alexandra feature - 2 sets of symbols are removed from play and a symbol drop follows.
- Cecilia feature - 1 or 2 wilds are added to random positions on the reels.
- Fred feature - 1 set of symbols transforms into a new symbol to hopefully create a new winner.
- Martina feature – removes all the standard symbols from the bottom row of the grid and Martina replaces the band members. This extra can only trigger in Concert and Free Spins mode.
Concert feature
Land a winning combination made up of Alexandra, Cecilia or Fred and you will fill up a charge meter. Fill 4 positions on the meter to activate the Concert feature or 6 to Overcharge it. A new symbol drop takes place. Each band member then performs a solo and triggers their special modifier. These play out in order. Overcharge the Meter on the triggering spin and you’ll carry over any multipliers that were in active.
Free Spins feature
If you manage to clear the whole of the reel grid of symbols, you’ll activate the Free Spins feature. Once again, a band member is active on each free spin. Their modifier becomes active following every winless free spin.
Martina is active during every spin so there are ample opportunities to bring 2x wild multipliers into play. Clear the grid during the free spins and an instant bonus worth 50 times your stake awaits. You can add more free spins to your total by charging or overcharging the meter.
High variance & high voltage
