The sound and visuals in Wild-O-Tron 3000 are terrific - the setting is a robot laboratory that’s full of twisted metal. On the reels you’ll see 7 different droids in various colours. The lowest value droid is the one dripping in wires. Land 5 of this in combination and the payouts are 2 times your stake. The best of the robots is the red droid which offers 15 times your stake if you manage to hit 5 on the same payline.
There aren’t free spins or other features here. You can still expect plenty of action thanks to the Wild-O-Tron 3000 feature which can trigger at random on any spin. The machine to the side of the screen whirs into life and fires bolts of electricity onto the reels. All instances of a random assortment of robot symbols are transformed into wilds. The reels then spin as usual with plenty of extra wilds in play.
That’s it as far as extras go. If you like plenty of variety then you won’t find it here. This is a stripped back slot game as far as gameplay is concerned. Saying that, it reminds me of Starburst (also by Net Entertainment) is that it’s simple and has 1 bonus feature – it also offers up to 500 times your stake on each spin.
The futuristic design could fool you into thinking that Wild-O-Tron 3000 is more complex than it really is. In fact, it’s as straightforward a slot game as you could wish for. Simple it might be, but we didn’t find this game to be a boring one. The Wild-O-Tron 3000 feature rumbles into life at regular intervals and the extra wilds can deliver plenty of action.
The combination of superb design and plenty of extra wilds make the rather basic Wild-O-Tron 3000 well worth considering. If you like robots, RoboCop from Playtech is worth playing.
