The design in Temple of Nudges is excellent. With rich jungle vegetation in the background, the action takes place within a stone temple building flanked by snake totem heads. There’s a primitive feel to the symbols. Rather than playing cards you’ll see colourful shapes make up the lower value symbols.
They’re joined by 4 carved animal heads. The best of these is the red big cat. Land 5 of these on adjacent reels and you’ll receive a payout of 0.36 times your stake. That doesn’t sound like much for a top paying symbol. There are plenty of opportunities to add to your tally courtesy of the game’s 2 features though.
Nudge feature - this comes into play following every winning spin. The reels then move 1 position down. If a new winning combination is created, a payout calculation is made and the process is repeated. The nudges continue as long as a new winner hits.
Re-Spin feature -hope to see an overlay re-spin symbol appear on a winning spin. All examples of the winning symbol on the reels on that spin are held and the rest of the symbol positions spin again. This offers a second shot at landing a new and improved winner.
Temple of Nudges offers a steady stream of simple, repetitive action. That’s no bad things though. The stacked symbols, nudges and re-spins come along regularly to keep the pace moving along nicely. As usual for a Net Entertainment slot game, we’ve no cause to crumble about the design of Temple of Nudges. The jungle visuals are terrific and there’s a haunting backing track playing as you spin which is a good fit.
Put all that together and you have a very playable slot game. The simple game engine and lack of traditional bonus rounds means that Temple of Nudges won’t be for everyone. If you like steady, straightforward action then the Temple of Nudges delivers just that.
