Agent Jane Blonde Returns Slot

Microgaming’s favourite superspy is back for a second mission in Agent Jane Blonde Returns. This espionage adventure is played using a 5 reel, 15 payline game engine and comes with respins where the triggering scatters turn into wilds. Play on all devices from between 5p and £400 per spin.

There’s a far more sophisticated look to the design in Agent Jane Blonde Returns than in the original slot game. With a skyscraper-filled cityscape in the background, you’ll see watches, passports, laptops, bags and guns spinning round the reels. Those lower value symbols are joined by Agent Jane in a variety of scenes and disguises.

Agent Jane Blonde appearing as herself is the wild. This substitutes for all other symbols apart from the scatter. In the base game, the wild spins in stacked formation and can fill whole reels when it hits.

The features are very different in this sequel too. The action here centres on the Respins feature which is triggered by landing 2 or more of the logo scatter on the same spin. Those triggering scatters turn into wilds and are held and the reels spin again. If a new wild symbol lands, it too is held.

These respins keep on coming as long as a new wild symbol lands. A final payout then follows with all of the extra wild symbols in position. That’s it as far as features go. You can trigger the respins round pretty regularly though.

You might expect a slot game starring a secret agent to be an explosive affair. Agent Jane Blonde really isn’t. The is a low variance slot game with maximum wins of just 300 times your stake per spin/respin. The original, Agent Jane Blonde, offers wins of up to 3,407.11 times your stake on each free spin!

This second outing for Microgaming’s super spy is a simple one. The visuals might be glossier but the simple gameplay and low volatility doesn’t make it appealing in the slightest. If you want a good sequel, I suggest you try Thunderstruck II (by Microgaming) or Blood Suckers II (from Net Entertainment).
