Head to the African savannah
The design in African Quest is simply done. With the African savannah in the background, the reels are made up of lower value A to 9 symbols alongside more rewarding wild animals. In order of value are the zebra, giraffe, rhino and elephant.
Kubwa the lion is the king of the payers. Land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of these on adjoining reels for a payout equal to 0.5, 1.2, 2.5 or 7.5 times your stake. The lion spins in stacks that are 2 or 3 symbols high (called the Stacked Lions feature) which can deliver some chunky clusters of matching symbols. The tree at sunset is the wild - this can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and substitute for all the standard symbols.
Hyperspins
When a base game spin is complete, you’ll be offered the opportunity to pay and respin one of the reels in the Paid Respins feature. The price is shown on the reel. Just as in the base game, the wild can appear on the middle 3 reels only. If you manage to land more than 1 multiplier wild on the same free spin, the values are combined. The prefect storm is a trio of 4x wild multipliers which sends payouts rocketing by a massive 64x.

We’ve seen better looking safaris than African Quest. The gameplay is decent enough though, especially the free spins round where the wild multipliers can really come into their own.
