With the African plains in the background, you’ll see lower value playing card symbols alongside higher paying wild animals. They include bison, lions, elephants and cheetahs. It’s not the best designed slot game from Blueprint Gaming but it’s still nice and clear which is all you really need.
Megaways game engine
Safari Gold Megaways uses the Megaways game mechanic. The number of symbols on each reel changes with each spin. The number of ways to win varies too. If all 6 reels reach their maximum size, you’ll have 117,649 ways to create a winner.
Cascading reels
After a winner hits, a cascade takes place with the Cascading Symbols feature. The winning symbols are removed from the reels and new ones drop in from above to replace them. The cascades continue if a new winning combination is created.
Transforming symbols
Look out for the special golden lion symbol. These can strike at random on any spin. These all transform into the same matching symbol and a new payout calculation is made. This is called the Mystery Symbol feature.
Free spins with multipliers
Land 4 or more of the diamond scatter symbol on the same spin and you’ll get a spin of the Bonus Wheel in the Free Spins feature. This will determine how many free spins you’ll receive and what the starting multiplier will be. You will get between 5 and 15 free spins with a starting multiplier of between 2x and 10x. Land 3 or more scatters during the round to add more free spins to your total – with no limits.
Expanding multiplier
During the free spins, the Unlimited Win Multiplier feature is active. Each time you land a cascading win, the multiplier increases by 1x. It doesn’t drop back to the starting multiplier following a winless cascade either, it only stays the same or rises.
