Megaways mechanic - up to 15,625 ways to win
This updated version of Eye of Horus uses the Megaways mechanic. On each spin, you could see between 3 and 5 symbols on each reel. This alters the number of active Megaways. If all 6 reels have the maximum 5 symbols, you’ll have 15,625 ways to create a winner. Matching symbols need to be on adjacent reels beginning from reel 1.
Classic Egyptian imagery
The design in the Megaways version of the Eye of Horus is similar to the original standard version. You’ll see A to 10 royals as well as birds, flowers, an ankh cross, scarab beetle and the jackal god Anubis. The all-seeing eye symbol is the most rewarding. Land 6 in combination for a payout of 20 times your total stake.
Expanding wilds
The bird god Horus is the wild. This replaces all the standard symbols. When this appears on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5, it expands to turn the whole of the reel wild. This is called the Expanding Wilds feature.
Free spins
The pyramid symbol is the scatter. Land 3, 4, 5 or 6 of these anywhere on the same spin and you’ll pocket an award of 2, 20, 50 or 100 times your total stake. You’ll also trigger the Free Spins feature and with it, 12 free spins.
Symbol upgrades
The expanding wild is in play during the Free Spins feature, just like in the base game. It also delivers a Brucie Bonus when it lands on reels 2, 3 or 4 during the bonus round. The Egyptian god fires a laser beam at the set of tablets above the reels.
This will upgrade the lowest value hieroglyph symbol into the next most valuable symbol. Land the wild multiple times during the free spins and the you can get multiple upgrades. That means the reels will be dominated by the top-paying symbols with potential rewards to match. Land 1, 2 or 3 wilds on the same free spin to add another 2, 3 or 5 free games to your total.
Win up to 10,000x on every spin
As Megaways slots go, Eye of Horus Megaways is rather unfussy. There’s a clean, crisp look to the design which is nicely done. It’s not overloaded with extras but the combination of expanding wilds, free spins and symbol upgrades is an appealing one. Variance wise, it’s medium to high with 10,000 x stake payouts available on every spin.
If you enjoyed the original Eye of Horus slot or can’t get enough of the Megaways mechanic, then the simple Eye of Horus Megaways is well worth investigating.
