Visually, Cash Wizard isn't especially magical - the reel set up is typical of a Bally powered game. Expect the usual white backdrop and a simple range of playing card and gemstone symbols. The Cash Wizard himself looks a little like the 1970s cartoon character Bod, which let's face it, was no artistic masterpiece. It's all functional enough though.
Where Cash Wizard does impress is in the features department - to access all of the features, you'll have to pay an extra 20 coins per spin which is why the minimum bet is 50p per spin rather than the 30p you might expect.
The first feature we'll look at is the Wizard Wild Bonus feature - triggered at random, the wizard appears on the reels and with a quick wave of his magic wand turns between 2 and 5 symbols into wilds.
The other randomly triggered extra is the Mystery Wheel Bonus feature - when the Wheel of Fortune style wheel appears, click on the wizard to make it stop. Depending on where the pointer lands, you can look forward to between 5 and 20 free spins or a cash prize of between 100 or 10,000 coins.
To land the other features, you'll need to hit specific symbols or combinations. Despite the simple visuals, there's still plenty to enjoy in Cash Wizard thanks to the range of features on offer. This is a low to medium variance game so it's unlikely that our sorcerer friend will conjure up an enormous haul of coins. The upside is that the features come along at regular intervals so you should get plenty of play for your investment.
