A forest full of flora and fauna is the setting for Acorn Pixie - the reels include a selection of yellow and pink flowers, pixie boots, a dragonfly, a ladybird and a mushroom. They’re joined by a quartet of pixie-inspired symbols. You’ll see a pixie in striped stockings, a pixie playing a flute and another playing with marbles. The best of the 4 is the pixie on acorns who awards 500 coins if you land 5 on a payline.
There’s also a wild - she replaces all other symbols apart from the scatter and offers payouts of 10, 50, 500 and 10,000 coins if you land 2, 3, 4 or 5 in combination. The design in Acorn Pixie is nicely done with the pixie symbols reminding us of the infamous Cottingley Fairy Hoax. The features aren’t the most exciting you’ll see but the sticky wilds in the bonus round can have a decent impact. The fairy theme isn’t really one of our favourites.
Saying that, Acorn Pixie is a good game with the potential to pay out 1,000 times your stake on each spin. If fairies are your thing, Pixies of the Forest by IGT and Fairy Queen by Novomatic are recommended.
