Super Charged 7s Slot

Aussie developer Ainsworth is back with another classic fruit machine reboot. Super Charged 7s is a 5 reel, 40 payline slot game that comes with a feature round that awards up to 16 free spins as well as a wheel bonus complete where your prize could be boosted by a multiplier of up to 5x. Play this low variance game from between £1 and £10 per spin.

There’s nothing very flashy about the design of Super Charged 7s. Above the reels you’ll find crackling electricity chargers. Those reels include dollar signs, cherries and blue, gold and red bars. The best standard symbol is the lucky red 7 which pays 1.6 times your total stake if you land 5 in a row. The diamond is the wild. This replaces all other symbols bar the scatter and pays 2, 5 or 20 times your total stake if you land 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

To the right of the reels you’ll see the Bonus Wheel. This becomes live, the Wheel feature, if you land 6 or more of the Bonus Wheel symbol on the same spin. The wheel is made up of cash values. The size of the cash prize depends on where the pointer stops. You could also benefit from a multiplier here. The size of that multiplier is determined by how many Bonus Wheel symbols triggered the feature:

  • 6 Bonus Wheels = 1x
  • 7 Bonus Wheels = 2x
  • 8 Bonus Wheels = 3x
  • 9 Bonus Wheels = 4x
  • 10+ Bonus Wheels = 5x

The game also comes with a Free Games feature - it’s triggered by landing the bonus scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 on the same spin. You’ll then receive 8 free spins. These can be retriggered to give you 16 free spins in total. You’ll also have the chance to land the Wheel feature from here.

Super Charged 7s didn’t really wow us. The design isn’t the best and the range of extras, though decent enough, didn’t offer much in the way of thrills. The variance is low and the RTP is a click over 93%. It’s all perfectly ordinary, just a little dull, which for a slot game that’s meant to be crackling with energy left us rather disappointed. I suggest you try Novomatic’s From Dusk Till Dawn (yes, based on the film) which has a bonus wheel and plenty of bonus features.
