We won’t be awarding any gold stars to the designers of Soul Queen Quad Shot - the design here is pretty crude. You’ll see lower value playing cards as well as a bottle of perfume, a gold swan, a locket and a rose spinning around the reels. Soul Queen Quad Shot is a typical Ainsworth slot game - the visuals are nothing special and the generic soundtrack adds very little. The multipliers in the feature round offer some potential. As usual, the paytable in the feature round is vastly different to what’s on offer in the base game. Don’t think you’re going to boost the top base game awards by 10x. The awards without the multipliers are generally much lower.
We always feel slightly conned by the reduced feature round paytable used in Ainsworth slot games and Soul Queen Quad Shot is no exception. The jackpot addition is a good one. We still found this game something of a disappointment though. The visuals lack ant flair and the bonus round is a bit plodding. We’re sorry your majesty, but we won’t be seeking many more audiences with the Soul Queen. I would much rather try my luck with the Blood Queen from Iron Dog Studio or the Amazon Queen from WMS.
