Paddy Power has launched a Save Our Shirt campaign – they have become official sponsors of both Huddersfield Town and Motherwell but are ‘unsponsoring’ them so to speak.

The news wasn’t received very well with people calling it the worst kit ever – the FA even got involved as the nature of the logo on the shirt is prohibited. Paddy Power has then admitted it was a hoax and will be raffling off these fake shirts for charity. Paddy Power won’t have their logo on the Huddersfield Town football shirts.
Since then, Paddy Power has become the main sponsor of Scottish club Motherwell. The club will wear sponsorless shirts for the 2019/20 season. It’s also become Motherwell’s biggest shirt sponsorship deal in their history. Paddy Power have shown they are forward-thinking and this can only be a good thing.
