Vikings Go To Hell Slot

After going Wild and Berserk in previous slot games, the Norse warriors face their biggest challenge yet in Vikings Go To Hell. Once again created by Yggdrasil Gaming, it’s a 5 reel, 25 payline offering that comes with plenty of action including respins, demon fights, treasure chests bonuses and 2 free spins rounds. Go marauding on all devices from between 10p and £125 per spin.

As usual, we’ve few complaints about the design here - you’ll see an assortment of weapons and a quartet of Vikings spinning around the reels. Yggdrasil Gaming are one of the better developers as far as sound and visuals go and Vikings Goes To Hell is anything but hellish. This third outing in the Vikings series is filled with extras too.

Rage Collection feature - once you have collected 300 Rage Points, you’ll be awarded 7 Berzerk Spins. All players start with 150 points. You can add more points for every wild that hits during a battle with a regular demon, The Lord of Chains or Lucifix as well as via the treasure chests, more of which shortly.

Demon Fights feature - land 2 or more Free Spin symbols and all of the Viking symbols will go into battle with a demon. If the Viking wins, he turns into a wild and 1 Rage Point is added to your total.

Respins feature – this is triggered by landing 2 Free Spin symbols. Any wilds that are on the reels are sticky for the respin. You can land more respins here too. The aim is to get 1 more Free Spin symbol which triggered the relevant feature (more below).

In the base game, look out for treasure chests which can land on reel 5 only. When it does, it will award a Good or Epic Tablet prize. Good Tablets give you a prize of between 15 and 30 times stake, 7 free spins or a Rage points tally for 1 Viking being boosted by 60.

Epic Tablets award between 60 and 120 times stake and 12 or 16 free spins. Rage Points for all Vikings get a 60-point boost.

Vikings Go To Hell also comes with Free Spins features. In Level 1 (the Lord of Chains), 7, 12 or 16 free spins are awarded if you land 3, 4 or 5 Free Spins scatters. The Viking battles the Lord of Chains and can add sticky wilds into play depending on the result. Defeat the Lord of Chains and you’ll progress to Level 2.

Level 2 (Lucifix) gives you 7 free spins. If there’s a Viking on the reels, Lucifix appears and fights him. Depending on how this contest goes, you can add sticky wilds to the reels. Defeat Lucifix and your payout is boosted by 3x. Keep an eye out for treasure chests showing up on reel 5 which will give you an Epic or Good tablet – Epic tablets give you 3 extra free spins or 1 wild reel whilst Good tablets reward you with 2 additional free spins or 2 random wilds.

Just like the other slot games in the series, Vikings Go To Hell has plenty going on. All the battles, rage points and the like can be a little confusing at first glance so a few spins in demo mode are recommended. Once you’re got accustomed to the setup, there’s plenty to enjoy here.

The design is as good as usual and there’s plenty of action - we’d put the variance in the medium to high range. If you enjoyed the Vikings’ previous outlandish outings, then you should enjoy Vikings Go To Hell. I also recommend you try Vikings Go Wild and Viking Go Berzerk.
