However the MegaJackpots Cluedo hasn't simply bolted a progressive jackpot onto that game - a number of features have been changed. First you'll find that the standard Cluedo slot's 'News Paper' Wild symbol has been replaced with two new Wilds, the 'Cluedo' and the 'MegaJackpots' symbols. Both can substitute for all other symbols except themselves and the 'Mystery Bonus' symbol, which we'll get to in a moment. Curiously the other change is the replacement of the very Cluedo-esque "Who Won It" Bonus feature, with a far more Cleopatra-like Free Spin Bonus Round. Indeed so identical is this round to the Cleopatra one we'll refer you to that review if you want to know more about it - it's the same game with Cluedo styling rather than Egyptian. Don't get us wrong, this Free Spin Bonus round is good fun and a terrific way to get more wins from single stake, but it does rather lack the Cluedo 'atmosphere' of WagerWorks' other 'Cluedo Slots'.

This activates after any award of less than 3,000 credits, and lets the player gamble double or nothing on the turn of an onscreen card. It's a 50/50 bet so entirely fair and there are options to "TAKE WIN" and "TAKE HALF" if you don’t want to gamble the entire award on this feature. You can gamble successfully five times or until the award exceeds 3,000 credits before this Cluedo slot's base game resumes.

Finally we can turn to the MegaJackpot itself. Like other WagerWorks slot machines under this brand, the MegaJackpot is a wide are network progressive, so loads of machines are paying into it and can hit it. MegaJackpot Cluedo presents a bit of a conundrum for us at Best Slots. It's a darn good progressive jackpot machine, yet it loses some of the more distinctive Cluedo-themed features of its non-progressive sister slot which we liked so much. However, we can't really fault the features it does have and, remembering that our emphasis should be on recommending to you good slots games and not great board games, niggling over the authenticity of the Cluedo element of this game is probably a red herring!
