Online slots themed with Marvel Comics superheroes are not new, but Playtech have entered the arena previously occupied by Cryptologic with their Incredible Hulk slot machine.

Whereas Cryptologic went for a nine-payline format with its Hulk slot, Playtech have upped this to twenty across their Hulk's five reels and added a few extra twists to entertain themed slots' lovers. The first of these is the Expanding Hulk Wilds that can spin up on reels 2,3 and 4. Represented by the mean, green fighting machine himself, these Wilds operate like traditional wild symbols in that they can substitute for all other symbols (excepting the Hulk Scatter, and Smash Bonus Scatter, of which more shortly), however there's more to them than initially meets the eye. Land this themed slot's Wild on the centre of the third reel and it expands to fill the whole reel and remains activated for a further two free spins. Get three Wilds anywhere on the reels 2,3, and 4 and they all expand to cover those three reels for that turn and a further free spin.
