Microgaming has signed a licensing agreement for the Tarzan brand allowing them to develop a slot game and release it.
Microgaming has signed a licensing agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. meaning they have the exclusive rights to the Tarzan name for online slot games. Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote the Tarzan of the Apes novel which was published in 1912 and has been a household name ever since.
Tarzan is the most filmed jungle hero character in motion picture history and has been played by 29 different actors since 1918. Tarzan has also featured in various television series, 2 Broadway stage productions, comic strips and much, much more. The latest film is The Legend of Tarzan which is currently in cinemas throughout the UK with Tarzan being played by Alexander Skarsgård.
The Tarzan slot game will be available later in 2016 and will be playable on desktop, mobile and tablet devices. The game will feature Jane, Archimedes and a number of jungle friends. It will also incorporate thrilling features and a superb soundtrack including the infamous yell (“Aah-eeh-ah-eeh-aaaaaah-eeh-ah-eeh-aaaaah!”).
